The first volunteers who went to Wema Children’s Centre nine years ago have since continued to go back, bringing with them more friends, support, and understanding. Their commitment to the students and teachers who touched their lives is a big reason Wema Children’s Centre is still providing quality education today. Executive directors Teresa and Stephen hope to welcome more volunteers into their home, as the exchange of learning will only expand the possibilities. The students at Highway Academy and Wema Children’s Centre would love to have you! If interested, please contact [email protected]. Volunteers should be at least 16-years-old.

Past examples include leadership training with a focus on HIV/AIDS awareness, art, and sports leagues. C. Publicity/Communication
